Workers’ Compensation

We are experts in providing workers’ compensation coverage, and view our relationship with policyholders as a partnership. Together we can minimize the frequency of injuries and control the cost of claims so that your premium remains low. We work exclusively through independent insurance agents. If you are not currently insured with Midwestern Insurance Alliance, talk to your independent agent or contact us to find an independent agent in your area.

Claim Reporting

When a work-related injury happens, you need to know how and where to report it. Visit our Claims webpage for a state-by-state guide and necessary forms.

Pay Online

You can now make premium payments online using V-Check. It’s quick and easy, and you never have to worry about your check getting lost in the mail.

Payroll Audits

Although they are an important part of the workers’ compensation, there is often confusion surrounding premium audits. Click below to learn more.

Safety Resources

Most small businesses rely on their existing supervisors and managers to fill the role of a safety director – to promote safety, ensure OSHA compliance and effectively control hazards. However, these are far too important tasks to perform with little or no background in occupational safety management. Fortunately for MIA policyholders, we have compiled free online training to help. Online training offers “anytime, anyplace, and any pace” instruction, and can get you and your management staff better prepared to effectively manage employee safety.

Streaming Safety Videos

Midwestern Insurance Alliance has partnered with iTrainStation to provide streaming safety videos on-demand. As always, access to our video library is completely free for Midwestern’s policyholders.

As a policyholder, you have unlimited access to over 500 high-quality videos to satisfy your safety and compliance training needs, including many that are also available in Spanish.
